Here's the latest news from GSREIN regarding the MLS changes that were put into effect January 4, 2023.

“New listing statuses will be available and some of the old listing statuses will be removed along with other changes. See below for a complete list of changes. These changes are necessary in order to become more consistent with ROAM and RESO.”

Status Changes

• Pending Continue to Show will become Active Under Contract
• Leased will become Closed
• Sold will become Closed
• Under Contract will become Pending
• Terminated will become Cancelled
• Non-Listed Sold will be deprecated and will be now tracked with Closed plus Comp Sale Y/N flag
• Open Predication will become Active Under Contact and Contingency Type = Open Predication
• Active will remain Active
• Withdrawn will remain Withdrawn
• Expired will remain Expired

Contingencies

Open Predication will no longer be a status option. When an offer is contingent on the sale of another property, you will select Active Under Contract as the listing status and select Open Predication from the list of contingencies. Other contingency options will be:

• Backup Offers
