If you decide to create a spreadsheet containing your database, keep this in mind. It's better to separate some information into individual columns.
The reason for this is some systems (Leadstreet, Quantum, Lentz, Kunversion, etc) have different requirements when you upload your contacts. And it's easier to combine columns than it is to separate them.
For instance, first name, middle name/initial, and last name should all be in separate columns.
So should mailing addresses. Street number, street name, Street suffix, City, State, Zip Code. Put them all in different columns.
